Katherine Rose-Mockry received her Bachelor’s of Music Education in 1978, her Master’s of Science in Education in 1984 and is a Ph.D. candidate in Education, all from the University of Kansas. Rose-Mockry has served as Director of the Emily Taylor Center for Women & Gender Equity at the University of Kansas since 1998. She came to KU from a similar role at UCLA and brought a wealth of knowledge and experience with her. In her role as Director, Rose-Mockry has taken the opportunity to counsel, mentor, challenge, and support countless students, staff, faculty, and community members.
