Upcoming DEIB Sponsored Events

  • Graduate Student Rapport Program

    This program's purpose is to build intentional networks of care and belonging for KU Graduate Students. A collaboration between the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences, Graduate Studies, Center for Sexuality & Gender Diversity, and Office of Multicultural Affairs.

  • Faculty and Staff Rapport Program

    DEIB is creating space for social and professional connections to develop for KU staff and faculty. RSVP is requested for each event, which takes place from 3:30 – 5:30pm on the following dates: September 6, October 17, November 15, January 11, February 22, and April 4.

  • July 26 - Supporting First-Generation Students

    If you are interested in learning more about strategies for how you can support the success of first-generation students, please join the “Supporting First-Generation Students” webinar presented by PaperClip Communications. In partnership with Equity and Success Initiatives and the upcoming First-Gen Faculty Staff Council, this webinar will present you with the information you need to learn to build a campus-wide support system that will ensure that first-generation students are able to overcome potential barriers to ensure their academic, social, and professional success.
