Rapport Program
Rapport is a networking and support program that provides opportunities for professional social, community connection in an effort to build campus community engagement. Events are open to all KU graduate students, staff, and faculty.
Staff & Faculty Rapport Program
Our event in April 2023 brought staff and faculty together to learn more about our Faculty Staff councils. Many who attended the event shared that they left feeling re-energized and more connected to the community. In the 2023-2024 academic year, the Rapport initiative has expanded, in collaboration with Faculty Affairs, Human Resource Management, Commerce Bank, and other partners to cultivate more holistic employee support, networking, and community building.
The dates for the 2023-2024 Staff & Faculty Rapport program are set. Please RSVP if you plan to attend any or all of the events! Food and refreshments are provided.
Location: The Pub @ the Jayhawk Welcome Center
Time: 3:30-5:30 pm for each date
Graduate Student Rapport Program
Launched in Spring 2023, Rapport for graduate students focuses on building intentional networks of care and belonging for KU graduate students. DEIB partnered with the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences, Graduate Studies, Center for Sexuality & Gender Diversity, International Support Services (ISS),Office of Multicultural Affairs, and Commerce Bank to host four sessions. Students who have participated in Rapport report a greater sense of belonging at KU because they were able to identify support and community across academic disciplines.
All graduate students are welcome to attend Rapport Programs. If you plan to attend any of the Graduate Student Rapport events, please RSPV. Food and refreshments are provided.
