Erin Duran

Erin Duran (he, him, his) is a proud first-generation college student and earned his bachelor’s degree at Grinnell College, majoring in Sociology with a concentration in Gender & Women’s Studies. While at Grinnell, Erin was an involved student leader and found a love for higher education and student affairs. This love led him to Penn State where he received an M.Ed. in College Student Affairs.

Erin has worked professionally in higher education since 2012, with a particular focus on serving historically and systemically underrepresented communities. Prior to joining KU in 2021, Erin most recently served as Interim Dean of Institutional Equity and Inclusion at Connecticut College, providing strategic leadership to the Division of Institutional Equity and Inclusion during a time of much institutional transition.
