Biography

Tyler Hall grew up in Tampa, Florida and attended the University of South Florida where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Criminology. He spent his time working with different student organizations including the P.R.I.D.E. Alliance for which he earned the Outstanding Student Leader award from the Office of Multicultural Affairs.

After graduation, he moved to Orlando and completed Equality Florida’s TransAction Leadership Academy. He worked at the University of Central Florida’s Counseling and Psychological Services where he learned to refine emotional empathy especially in higher education. Tyler also earned his master’s degree in Public Administration at UCF.

He is excited to be in Lawrence at KU after living on the East Coast his whole life. Tyler enjoys playing D&D, board games, retro arcade games, listening to audio books, and hanging out with his cats Riceball and Noodle.
